Co-facilitated the initial production of VideoScout®-GO through the development of build procedures, tool procurement, implementation support of inspection processes, and provided technical guidance to manufacturing management.
Applied root cause analysis (RCA) with the scientific method to diagnose touch-panel assembly issues that caused high-temperature, touch sensing failures.
Worked with overseas manufacturers to increase the reliability of display and touch-panel production, while concurrently implementing new test procedures, boosting yield by 30%.
Engineered a precision display installation fixture with ±0.002 inch tolerance across dual axes, ensuring consistent alignment and assembly quality.
Led effort to test and replace conductive gaskets and sealants to improve EMI shielding, EMP survivability, assembly & installation, and salt fog corrosion.
Developed and productized an active cooling accessory, performing computational fluid dynamic (CFD) simulations to optimize the cooling performance while minimizing the form factor.
